This statue of St John the Baptist is in the parish church of Ars-sur-Formans, which has been incorporated into the shrine of its most famous curè, St John-Baptist Marie Vianney. Today, 24 June, is the Solemnity of the birth of St John the Baptist, and my sermon for today can be read here.
