Among the writings of St Aelred is his 'On Jesus as a Twelve-year-old Boy', which is a meditation on the finding of Jesus in the Temple, recounted in Luke 2:42-50. The search for Jesus, for holy Wisdom, is essentially the soul's search for God, and its journey to him. This stained glass detail is by Burne Jones, and it is in the chapel of Jesus College, Cambridge.
